Space journeys

Wake before sunrise to quietly celebrate the start of a new day. Experience yourself up close on a bed of nature, with a beautiful house and a friendly group around you. Wow, have vegetables always tasted this good? Swinging on a rope between treetops, you land in a new place within yourself. The world as you knew it feels distant—you're on a space journey.

Since 2006, Tanja and Baldwin have been organizing yoga holidays every other year—a perfect blend of activity and relaxation. We explore new, idyllic locations in the Netherlands, the Ardennes, and occasionally much further afield. Enjoy nature, a charming house, a friendly group (around 12 people), and fresh insights and skills. Relaxing both body and soul creates a relaxed and joyful atmosphere where you learn to see yourself and your surroundings from a different perspective.

Each day begins with a meditation moving from darkness to light, followed by a yoga session. Sometimes there's an organized activity afterward, but often you can spend the day as you wish until the afternoon yoga session.

You'll spend about five hours daily on yoga, meditation, and bodywork. This allows us to go deep, including practicing pranayama (breathing techniques) and exploring the subtler aspects of the poses. The program suits all levels, though beginners might find it challenging.

Organized activities are designed to help you apply what you learn in yoga classes—such as a climbing course among the trees to strengthen your balance (mooladhara chakra, first energy center) or confronting and releasing old fears like fear of heights (vishuddi, throat center).

Additionally, expect dancing, good food, laughter, some cold training, and a touch of shamanism :)

I have participated in Tanja's yoga weeks several times and enjoyed every one of them.

What truly fascinates me is the special subtlety with which Tanja structures her weeks.

She approaches everything with heart, knowledge, and humor, meeting everyone where they are, regardless of constitution, abilities, or background.

Depending on participants' willingness, this can lead to profound experiences and lasting positive changes in their lives. Tanja maintains her humor, patience, and dedication throughout, handling every situation with grace.

These weeks are about more than just yoga postures—they encompass life in all its forms: movement, magic, dance, ritual, community, joy, emotions, and love. They embody what makes us feel alive.

Tanja brings to life the true meaning of yoga—union.

I met Tanja on a wonderful, relaxing, and healing yoga holiday she organized with her husband Baldwin. It was a perfect mix of authentic yoga, meditation, reflection, delicious food, beautiful nature, and genuinely lovely people. I returned fully refreshed and am already looking forward to the next yoga trip.

Each time, a deeply immersive experience combining yoga, spirituality, nature, and wholesome nutrition—a truly holistic week with plenty of space for oneself within a group of wonderful people who support each other throughout the week. The yoga, as the central element, is complemented by delicious meals prepared by the group itself and always new, beautiful power spots whose natural beauty enhances the deep immersion of body, mind, and soul.Tanja's holistic approach consistently introduces new focal points each week, gently and individually building intensity for each participant, and her extensive experience provides constant support. Baldwin, as the "head chef," skillfully translates yogic principles into culinary delights. This time is profound and impactful, extending far beyond the week itself.
